Having family that has been farming in the Beaver Valley for over 5 generations certainly has its benefits the knowledge that is passed down from generation to generation is invaluable. While opening Oakley’s Field Fresh in 2010 is a new venture for all of the family members involved , growing high quality fruits and vegetables is not new to us. Oakley’s Field Fresh has evolved from Brad and Teresa purchasing their first apple orchard in 1984. Kyle returned home in the fall of 2009 after graduating from The University of Guelph, with aspirations of growing vegetables for sale at the local level. With the generous help of grandparents and friends, Oakley’s Field Fresh opened on July 1, 2010.
